In this project for Grimm's Fine Foods, Ball Creative went "beyond the package" and created success with POP.
Our expression of brand and attributes for Grimm's in packaging and labeling is what sets their communication apart from that of their competitors. Those competitors are so very often found on the same grocery shelf, making the comparisons extremely easy.
However, in the Deli section of the supermarket, much of Grimm's premium product is sold unpackaged, without an opportunity for additional information or education to the consumer. The answer: creating point of purchase or point of sale communication pieces outlining the key benefits and attributes right at the counter.
The Deli Counter Topper offered a take-away list of attributes. This feature was a great hit with those looking for products listing detailed allergen, gluten and MSG free options. The Deli Cling outlined the key points of difference in a location the shopper just couldn't miss. This POP educated shoppers about the Grimm's brand and product and defeated hesitation in shoppers. It gave them just the right information to choose Grimm's, pick out the product and take it to the register.
